Tom Telesca, MBA
CEO and Partner
Tom’s leadership has resulted in StratX defining and setting the gold standard for client driven IT strategy and support.  It’s not enough to Band-Aid existing technology problems, he has charged StratX with understanding our clients’ industries, issues and goals to offer the best solutions and support to help achieve their business growth.

Tom was CEO and Partner of Professional Data Systems, Inc. prior to StratX and his entrepreneurial drive, strategic direction, and operational expertise cultivated PDS’ substantial growth since its inception in 1997.  Tom’s business background includes international and domestic business development at Linkshare, and was an Engineer at Procter & Gamble responsible for technical staff and charged with delivering improved efficiency of manufacturing operations.

Tom holds an MBA in Business Administration, Corporate Finance, from Johns Hopkins University and is a graduate from Cornell University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.


Morris W. Stemp, CPA, MBA, CPHIMS
CFO and Partner
Morris leads the charge for staff development and culture in order for StratX to offer our clients a consistent, educated, driven and thorough support team. His skills at recognizing patterns, understanding operational flows and integrating systems into the existing work environments increase work flow, contribute to 100% up-time and have long-lasting benefit for your business.

Morris was CEO and founder of Stemp Systems Group (1986) and formerly an audit manager and consultant with the firm of KPMG Peat Marwick where he was recognized as an expert in the areas of selection, evaluation and implementation of accounting systems.

He is the author of “The EHR Guru” and has spoken on topics regarding Health IT to healthcare professionals, and on IT topics such as Disaster Planning/Business Continuity and Cyber Security at several professional conferences as well as to students seeking to enter the IT profession. 

Morris earned a BBA in Accounting from Baruch College, summa cum laude, with a minor in Organizational Psychology and an MBA in Finance from New York University Stern School of Business.


Jack Mortell
EVP Sales and Partner
Jack’s entrepreneurial spirit has shaped StratX’s sales and account management teams to benefit our clients. His teams have the mindset to embrace critical questioning, innovation, service and continuous improvement.

Before StratX, Jack served as founder and President of Professional Data Systems, Inc. with responsibilities including all sales, business development, client service management, and new technology acquisitions. Additionally, he oversaw all sales and marketing activities for Proven Backup, Inc., an online, healthcare specific, backup service (now owned by StratX). Prior to PDS, Jack held the position of Regional Sales Manager for G Barry & Associates where he was responsible for selling their PMS software and overall management of the Northeast territory.

Jack graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in Political Science.


Bob Harmonay
General Manager
As General Manager at StratX, Bob Harmonay is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the StratX’s Support, Field Service and Engineering teams. In this capacity, Bob is focused on providing an exceptional service experience and developing teams that exceed our client’s expectations.

Prior to joining StratX, Bob held various positions in operations and customer service. Most recently, he was Chief Operating Officer at SRS Software, an Orthopaedics and Ophthalmology focused EHR software company, overseeing the growth of their implementation and support teams which lead to their designation as Best in KLAS in 2012. He also spent 11 years as Technical Support Manager for Medical Manager Northeast where he was responsible for all technical support and service departments. Medical Manager is a leading turnkey provider of healthcare information systems and is now known as Sage Medical Manager.

Bob’s professional accomplishments range from integrating the technical support and field service areas of independent software dealerships into regional service departments; development and implementation of multi-location help desk solutions; successful rollout of IT initiatives; and streamlining internal operations to ensure maximum customer service

Bob received a BA in Communications from Iona College and has more than 25 years’ experience in the healthcare industry.


Susan Telesca, MBA
Director of Business Development
Susan leads key aspects of StratX’s Business Development work.  She leverages her analytical skills and management experience to develop systems which increase customer satisfaction and drive down customer costs.

Prior to the creation of StratX IT Solutions and beginning in 2002, Susan was Vice President of Finance and Human Resources divisions of Professional Data Systems, Inc. She previously held key Operations Management positions at Procter & Gamble, Priceline.com and Pepsi Bottling Group. Her key accomplishments in these large corporations include supply chain management implementations for P&G and operations technology streamlining at Pepsi.

Susan holds an MBA in Business Management from Johns Hopkins University and a BS in Chemical Engineering from The University of Virginia.


Jennifer Martin
Human Resources Manager
Jennifer’s HR role directly helps define the strength of the StratX team. She works to find and hire applicants who fit the specialties of the positions that are open, as well as oversees the training and mentoring programs for our staff to allow them to better service clients.

Jennifer was the Office Manager at Professional Data Systems, Inc. prior to the merger, and worked as an administrative assistant for over 12 years before working at PDS.

She enjoys helping people and seeing them grow. Jennifer graduated Pace University with Bachelors in Business Administration.
